Brewers battle back for win
Burton came from 2-0 down to earn a superb 3-2 win over Torquay with Cleveland Taylor netting the winner.
Taylor skipped through the home defence before sending a low shot past keeper Michael Poke from the right-hand side of the penalty area.
United opened the scoring in the eighth minute when Chris Zebroski's pinpoint cross from the left byline was headed in by Scott Rendell at the far post.
After another spell of pressure, the home side doubled their lead in the 15th minute when Burton failed to clear the danger from a Jake Thomson corner and Adam Smith's cross-cum-shot was neatly turned in by Chris Robertson.
Kevin Poole made a good save to prevent a third, keeping out Rendell's far-post header, and from the clearance Russell Penn cracked an unstoppable 25-yard strike past United keeper Michael Poke in the 31st minute.
The goal gave Burton confidence to shoot from range and they restored parity in the 56th minute with a 20-yard strike from Shaun Harrad before Taylor's late winner condemned Torquay to their fourth straight defeat in all competitions
