Midfielder hoping to push on at The Den next season

Millwall have secured the future of Josh Wright after the midfielder signed a new three-year contract with the Championship club. Wright has impressed at The Den since joining the Lions in November following his departure from Scunthorpe United last summer. He has made 21 appearances for Kenny Jackett's side and played an influential role in Millwall climbing away from the relegation zone. Sky Sports revealed last month that the 22-year-old was attracting interest from other clubs, but Wright has now pledged his future to Millwall. "Signing for Millwall was an easy decision to make," Wright told the club's official website. "I came here with the intention to stay for many years and I am delighted I am able to do so. "I believe that I can go places with this club and we can push on next season."
