Striker says he walked away from talks
Academica striker Eder has confirmed he pulled out of talks over a move to England with West Ham United.
The Guinea-Bissau-born striker, who has also been the subject of interest from Porto and Everton this month, met with Hammers officials over the weekend.
However, a deal has failed to materialise after talks between the two parties over a possible loan move.
"We had a meeting at the hotel, but I did not like how things were conducted," he told
Radio Renaissance.
"I thought it was the best thing for my career, so I left."
West Ham have since turned their attentions to Genoa's
Ze Eduardo.
