Lowe aims high for Robins return

Defender Keith Lowe has pledged to keep working hard in an effort to reclaim his spot in the Cheltenham starting XI.

The 26-year-old was a regular for manager Mark Yates last season, but has found first-team chances hard to come by of late - with Alan Bennett, Sido Jombati and Steve Elliott putting in consistent performances across the Robins' backline. Lowe told the Gloucestershire Echo: "It's been a bit different for me this season, but I know what I am good at and hopefully that will get me back in the team. "I have to stick to what I know and I have played over 100 games for the gaffer, so he knows what I am capable of. "If I keep doing it, I'm sure I'll get back in. I am not the first player it's happened to and it's happened to me before, so I know how to deal with it and I will keep fighting to get back into the side. "I can't have any complaints really because the lads have been doing well and winning games, but I want to be playing and helping the team."
