Bayer Leverkusen have sold defender Domagoj Vida to Dinamo Zagreb.
The 22-year-old only joined Leverkusen on a five-year deal last year from Osijek.
But he played in just one Bundesliga match for Bayer, although he did feature a number of times in their Europa League campaign.
Now he has accepted a move back to his homeland and has signed a five-year deal with champions Zagreb.
"I did not play in Germany, and now I arrived in a good club with European ambitions," Vida told journalists.
