Heerenveen have confirmed the signing of Haitian international Lesley Fellinga.
The 22-year-old has arrived from BV Veendam on a one-year deal with an option for another 12-months.
Fellinga, who can play left-back or left midfield, started his career with Groningen but had to drop down to the Jupiler League with Veendam before making his name.
Heerenveen have also emerged as favourites to sign ADO Den Haag full-back Darryl Janmaat.
The 18-year-old has two-years left on his current contract but new Frisian coach Trond Sollied is ready to push through a deal to land him.
Two other players who Sollied will have to call upon next year are Niklas Tarvajarvi and Will Johnson.
Both players spent the last season on loan at De Graafschap but the duo are keen to break into the first-team squad at The Abe Lenstra.
Finally, one player who looks set to leave the club is Spaniard Gonzalo Garcia-Garcia.
